My Journey
From Military Service to Dog Training Passion
My name is Victor Gonzalez, and I’m the proud founder of K9 Peak Solutions. As a United States Army Veteran, I served as a Military Working Dog Handler, where I gained invaluable experience in training canines for a wide range of tasks—from basic commands to explosive detection and protection work. But beyond my military career, I’m a family man. I’m a father to two amazing boys and happily married to a beautiful woman I’ve known since the age of 12. My family is the driving force behind everything I do—they push me to achieve excellence and to never give up.
The Dogs Who Inspire Me
Meet Jassid & Charly
I have a special place in my heart for my dogs. Jassid, a Miniature Pinscher/Blue Heeler mix, was rescued from an Animal Shelter in New Mexico when he was just 16 weeks old. Known as Captain Kirk at the shelter, I renamed him Jassid (pronounced Jazz-Sid). He’s been my companion and joy ever since.
Charly, a Belgian Malinois/Shepherd mix, was my military partner. We worked together in various high-risk environments, where he bravely served our country. Sadly, Charly passed away while still in service, but his dedication and spirit continue to inspire me every day. Though we’re apart, I hold him close to my heart.

During my time as a Military Police K9 Officer and Explosive Detection Dog Handler, I was stationed in various parts of the world, including North America, Europe, and Asia. My team and I conducted missions with the U.S. Secret Service, foreign security agencies, and international police organizations. This exposure has given me a comprehensive understanding of dog behavior and the ability to work with dogs in high-pressure situations.

After my time in the service, I realized I could continue my passion for working with dogs in a new way. I wanted to serve others, helping dog owners experience the joy and fulfillment of having a well-behaved dog. That’s when K9 Peak Solutions was born. Through our personalized training programs, I aim to make every dog-owner relationship thrive and bring peace to homes across the country.
