About Victor

Victor Gonzalez dog trainer

My name is Victor Gonzalez and I am the founder of K9 Peak Solutions. I am a United States Army Veteran who served as a Military Working Dog Handler.

I am a father to two handsome little boys and married to a beautiful woman who I have known since the age of 12. My family is what drives me to accomplish all my goals and pushes me to never give up in anything I do.

I have an awesome little mutt named Jassid. He is a Miniature Pinscher/Blue Heeler mix who I rescued from an Animal Shelter in New Mexico at 16 weeks old. He was originally known by the shelter as Captain Kirk until I named him Jassid (pronounced Jazz-Sid as in Sydney, Australia).

I also keep near and dear to my heart a very special Military Working Dog named Charly who unfortunately at the time is not with me. Charly is a Belgian Malinois/Shepherd Mix. He is still currently serving our country and hope to one day reunite with him. (Update: Charly passed away while serving our country on July 28th 2018 at 1433 KST. Tribute video of Charly can be seen below.)

I have years of experience in handling and training U.S. Army canines on basic commands, finding explosives and narcotics as well as attack/protection work.

As a Military Police K9 Officer and Explosive Detection Dog Handler, I’ve served in different parts of the globe to include North America, Europe, and Asia. I also conducted missions supporting and working with the United States Secret Service, foreign security organizations and international police agencies across the world.

After my time in the service, I decided to continue my passion of working with dogs in a new way. I wanted to still do what I love but also serve others to feel the enjoyment and pleasure of having a well-behaved dog. That is how K9 Peak Solutions all started.
